Anna Krantz
Sweeter Devotion
‘Sweeter Devotion’ is not only a swingingly great pop single, it’s also the opening track of Anna’s debut album ‘Precious Time With You’.
It’s a piano-led soul track with a vocal that impresses from the very first note. Comparisons to the likes of Carole King and James Taylor seem to be the order of the day, but for those of us that are less well versed in the legends of soul, imagine Jamie Callum was actually a lady and maybe a fair bit less smug and you’ll be in the right ball park.
This genuinely won’t appeal to the mass-market of pop single buyers, but it will certainly be a hit with the grown-ups.
