Nerve Engine
One Chance
The biography promises passion, hunger and honesty and I say bring it on! Nerve Engine are as confident on record as they are on paper, whipping up a melodic metal frenzy with die-cut drumming and meaty guitars.
‘One Chance’ is a great demonstration of alternative music with wide appeal. It has the punchy guts of Rise Against with a side-order of Offspring. The thundering b-side, ‘Never See Me Fall’ is an even better (if moderately less appealing) track.
I’ve got no complaints with respect to this hard-hitting double.
