Thinking About You

We’re just about one week out from Smitten and ‘Thinking About You’ is here to join ‘Perfume’, ‘Glasgow’, and ‘Gravity’ as our pre-launch tasters. On the streaming release, the previous singles are tagged on the flip so you can enjoy uninterrupted listening.

Well, what we have here is a lost-love song with dreamy tones and an appropriately bleak hillside video. The lyrics ache for the intimacy left behind after it all fizzled out and confesses ‘I’m still thinking about you,’ before asking: ‘Tell me tell me do you remember?’

The song speaks straight to the heart of the album

I found myself writing about not just a certain time period, but my whole life, from years ago. When I fall in love, I fall deep, and it’s interesting to me that you can feel so fascinated and smitten with someone and then they can become a total stranger. So I feel like Smitten really summarised perfectly what I felt for others at a certain point.

Heather Baron-Gracie

The album explores the subject from many angles, but the heartache is the electric bringing it all to life. We love all four singles. Smitten is going to be a solid hit.

Thinking About You Lyrics

I learned your body
Like it was my own
Told you my stories
Nobody else knows
Maybe we didn’t try
Hard enough
Have you got a new girl?
Is she your world?
I’m not so sure
What I want more
Maybe we didn’t try
Hard enough

I’m still thinking about you
I’m still thinking about you
Tell me tell me do you remember?
And do the feelings linger?
I’m still thinking about you
I’m still thinking about you
Tell me tell me do you remember?

I call your sister
From time to time
She lets me know
You’re doing just fine
And I wish we tried a little more

And I know I’ve asked you before
But do you think about me all?
I’m still thinking about you
I’m still thinking about you
Tell me tell me do you remember?
And do the feelings linger?
I’m still thinking about you
I’m still thinking about you
Tell me tell me do you remember?
And I know I’ve asked you before
Do you think about me all?
And I know I shouldn’t call
Do you think about me at all?
