Singer / songwriter / teenager, Francesca Berlin, has hit the ground running with a series of studio recordings and live performances that have got people raving. So in order to see what all the fuss is about, I’ve got hold of a couple of Francesca’s latest songs and found a comfy spot on the sofa to have a listen.
With a tasty acoustic intro and some equally appetising drumming, ‘Stronger’ is great big pop song that makes you wait as long as possible before letting you in for the chorus. After all that anticipation, the chorus is well worth the wait, as it’s an absolute belter.
‘Standing Tall’ is another top notch song with a restrained verse that leads to a genius build up before another sparking chorus.
After these blinders, it’s impossible not to be left wanting more so hopefully there are new releases planned for the not-to-distant future. Francesca Berlin clearly has one of the finest voices on the scene and with songs to match. Surely it’s only a matter of time before you’ll hear Francesca on your wireless, but in the meantime check out her website for samples of both these songs.
