Sounds Like Violence have managed to capture the damaging effects of a dead relationship using a noose-like gritty bass riff, which successfully creates the strong backbone for this song.
‘Glad I’m Losing You’ is a track full of angsty vocals, stomping beats and roaring guitars, but despite this onslaught it still manages to have a catchy pop sound. Don’t be fooled into thinking you could serenade your lover with it, though.
Sounds Like Violence have a natural confidence that oozes through every gap in the CD player. What a great listen.
