About 65 Days Of Static

65daysofstatic is a Sheffield-based post-rock band known for their dynamic fusion of electronic, guitar-driven instrumentals, IDM-inspired rhythms, and glitch elements. Formed in 2001, the band consists of Paul Wolinski, Joe Shrewsbury, Rob Jones, and Simon Wright.

Their 2004 debut, The Fall of Math, received critical acclaim, establishing their reputation for urgent, genre-blurring compositions. They have since released six more studio albums, including We Were Exploding Anyway, Wild Light, and replicr, 2019, alongside the Silent Running soundtrack.

In 2016, they gained global recognition for their No Man’s Sky soundtrack, Music for an Infinite Universe. Continuing to push boundaries, they explored algorithmic composition with Decomposition Theory and released their latest album, Debris, in 2022.
