About getAmped
getAmped were a power-trio from Dorset UK formed by brothers Rick Parkhouse (bass and vocals) and Tim Parkhouse (guitar and vocals), with Chris ‘Dougal’ Leredde (drums). The band released two albums and played over 300 live shows in two years.
Jason Bowld (Pitchshifter / This is Menace) played drums for the band during their international tour and joined the band full time when they reformed under the name Chinastyle in 2008.
getAmped were an almost permanent fixture in the MP3 charts run by the magazine.
