About M. W. Craven
M. W. Craven was born in Carlisle and grew up in Newcastle. After spending a decade serving in the army, he obtained a social work degree and became a probation officer in Cumbria.
This background flourishes in his well-crafted crime novels, with a Gold Dagger award, Sunday Times Bestseller status, publishing deals, and translations into more than twenty languages being no surprise, thanks to a uniquely gifted writing style.
There are two series available. The wildly popular Washington Poe and Tilly Bradshaw double team and the Avison Fluke series. A third series featuring Ben Koenig has been announced alongside a deal that extends Poe and Bradshaw’s run.
If you like crime novels with solid twists and a special touch for humour, few writers are able to match M. W. Craven.
