About The Joiners Southampton
The Joiners is a legendary music venue in Southampton, located on St Marys Street (SO14 1NS). Since live music started in the back room of The Joiners Arms in 1968, the venue has been upgraded several times. It manages to successfully merge a quality small-tour circuit venue into the fabric of the historic building.
Phonotonal (as [the-mag] hosted Mag-Nite events in the venue to promote independent music between 2006 and 2008.
The Joiners has played an important role in the UK music scene, often being one of the venues bands play on their way to the big time.
